Connecticut Choral Society, Inc. (CCS), established in 1980, is an
ensemble
of auditioned singers who are joined by their commitment to provide
a music resource for Connecticut;
to encourage singing and performing choral
music of the highest artistic
quality; and to stimulate greater appreciation and
enjoyment of choral music.

Perspective
Perspective is a series of
half-hour talk shows that focuses on the discipline
of the Science of Humanity and the
ideas of Ernest Becker, a cultural
anthropologist and
interdisciplinary teacher and writer who many describe
today as a major twentieth century
American thinker. Each show features a
recognized expert, who manages to
make complex concepts understandable
for a general audience. Discussions
explore Dr. Becker's central question:
What makes people act the way they do?
